Music for Wedding Reception Toasts
July 28th, 2009If you are a DJ and have been hired to play the music for someone’s wedding reception, then you should know that it is a very delicate job. Weddings are supposed to take place only once in a lifetime and they should be very special so that everyone remembers them. How you are able to set the mood for the same will be instrumental in its success. Of course, people will dance at the reception and the music for wedding reception should be according to the theme of the party if there is one.
Wedding reception toasts generally include the music which the bride and the groom like and have a common inclination towards. The list should be a compilation of slow as well as fast songs which would be able to set the tempo for a great evening. When you start to play the music, make sure that you have figured out all the songs that you are supposed to play for the reception. In this manner, there would be no chance of a song being played which no one likes. The next aspect to take care of is something related to the couple. Usually the perfect wedding reception music starts with a song which both the partners have a liking for. They should be able to dance to it and it should be a slow song.
If you are unable to find such a slow song which means something for the bride and the groom, then do not worry as there are many timeless classics which you can choose from. Some of the all time favorites include Heaven from Bryan Adams and Love me Tender by Elvis Presley. These songs are some of the greatest hits ever and everyone would be comfortable to it. One important thing to remember is to play songs only which everyone knows.
